LEGACY FALL 2024 News and information for the Alumni of Clear Water Academy THE
We welcome you to our group of distinguished Clear Water Academy Alumni
A Message from the CWA Alumni Office
We extend a warm welcome to the newest members of our ever-growing Clear Water Academy alumni family, the Graduates of 2024! This year’s graduating class has shown remarkable spirit and determination, embodying the core values of Clear Water Academy. Their class motto, Audentes Fortuna Luvat (Fortune Favours the Brave), perfectly reflects their courageous spirit.
We invite you to explore the Class of 2024 program book , where you’ll get a closer look at who are poised to carry forward the legacy of excellence that defines Clear Water Academy. To our existing alumni, your continued engagement and support have been instrumental in shaping the experiences of these new graduates. As they join your ranks, let us welcome them with open arms, offering guidance, mentorship, and encouragement. Together, we are building a vibrant, supportive alumni network that spans across generations.
If you would like to volunteer or share any news, please email Mrs. Liz Faas
Thank you all for your commitment to Clear Water Academy. We look forward with excitement to the contributions our new alumni will make in the years to come.
Semper Altius! Always Higher!

Clear Water Academy is proud to announce that our Elementary School is once again ranked as one of Alberta's top schools, scoring 10 out of 10 in the Fraser Institute's 2024 Report Card on Alberta's Elementary Schools which was recently published. This ranking comes from the Grade 6 Provincial Achievement Test scores from the 2022-2023 school year. This outstanding ranking is a testament to our academic excellence and the dedication of our teachers, who nurture each student to succeed in all aspects of life. At Clear Water Academy, we emphasize the importance of developing the whole student through the four dimensions of Integral Formation —intellectual, spiritual, human, and apostolic. In partnership with our parents, we continue to strive to provide the highest level of education and formation for our students. Congratulations to our students, teachers, and community for another academic achievement! As our motto proudly reminds us: “ Semper Altius - Always Higher”. With more students joining, we are looking for teachers to join our team. If you know anyone who might be a great fit, please spread the word! We Are HIRING! ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT
It is with great joy that I share the latest updates and highlights in this Fall Edition of our Alumni Newsletter. A Message from Our Executive Director First, I extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended, supported, volunteered, and contributed to the success of our Awe & Wonder Gala back in May 2024. It was an unforgettable evening, filled with inspiration, joy, and a strong sense of community spirit. Thanks to the generous contributions of our CWA community, we raised approximately $600,000! These funds will directly support our Campus Development Plan: The Renovation and Modernization of Athlone Hall and the Expansion of our Athletics Facility with the building of a new gym. I would like to also recognize and thank all our alumni who have volunteered with the Crusader Athletics. Volunteering is a selfless gift, and your dedication reflects your deep commitment to our CWA community. We are truly blessed to have many alumni volunteers who generously give their time and expertise to enrich our sports programs. Please take a moment to read our October 2024 Executive Director Update, which includes a special message from Mr. Gregorio Oberti, Chair of the Board of Directors for Clear Water Academy Foundation. As alumni, you are vital to the ongoing success of Clear Water Academy. Your achievements, contributions, and continued engagement inspire our current students and speak to the lasting impact of Clear Water Academy education. I encourage you to stay connected, share your stories, and join us in the many events and activities planned for the 2024-2025 school year.
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR’S MESSAGE Cont.
