Fostering Employee Well-being and Development Beyond professional development, the People Management Department prioritized training, employee engagement, and well-being to create a more fulfilling work environment. A well-being program was introduced, offering group workshops, therapy sessions, and meditation exercises aimed at enhancing mental resilience and emotional balance. Employee engagement was also strengthened through regular feedback mechanisms and team-building activities designed to promote collaboration, inclusivity, and a strong sense of community. To further drive innovation and teamwork, the quarterly Eureka Initiative provided an interactive platform for employees to participate in quizzes and brainstorming sessions, sparking creativity and strategic thinking Enhancing Human Resource Practices AfriLabs also made significant strides in improving its human resource practices by updating key policies, including the People Manual and performance management systems, to reflect best practices and evolving workforce needs. In addition, the organization embraced digital transformation by adopting Seamless HR and Slack, which have streamlined workflows, improved communication, and enhanced productivity.
