Meet Samuel, a computer scientist revolutionizing the fight against Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) in Africa.

Afyatoon, another key player, has expanded its educational animation initiative on FGM into northern Tanzania and secured funding from the Aga Khan Media Innovation Centre. Similarly, SexTalks Podcast Namibia has formed a strategic partnership with the Former First Lady of Namibia, acquiring essential resources to scale its operations. Tilitonse, a startup developing a digital solution for gender-related issues, has collaborated with the Ministry of Gender to ensure its application aligns with national guidelines and data protection standards. The startup has successfully tested its prototypes and is progressing towards full product deployment. As the UNFPA Stretch Programmes come to completion, the initiative continues to empower young innovators, bridge gaps in policy, and provide sustainable solutions to some of Africa’s most pressing social challenges. His creation, SmartRR, provides survivors with access to medical professionals and fosters a global support community.
