The impact of the ACBP is evident in the success stories from across the continent. For example, TechHive in Nairobi, a partner hub, was able to refine its accelerator program after undergoing ACBP training. This led to an increased number of startups scaling to new markets, with several securing seed funding and attracting international attention.
Another example is Innovate Lagos, which, after participating in the program, introduced new capacity-building modules tailored to support women entrepreneurs in tech. This targeted support has empowered women-led startups, increasing their representation and success rate in the tech sector.
Through the ACBP, AfriLabs continues to play a critical role in shaping the future of Africa’s innovation ecosystem, ensuring that innovation hubs are well-equipped to provide the support necessary for the growth and sustainability of startups across the continent.
