Saudi LEAP 2024: Strengthening Global Partnerships Recognizing the importance of positioning Africa’s tech ecosystem on the global stage, AfriLabs led a high-level delegation to the LEAP 2024 Conference in Saudi Arabia. This delegation included key ecosystem enablers, policymakers, investors, and innovation leaders, all aligned in their goal to foster cross-continental collaboration and elevate Africa’s technological potential. Through targeted networking sessions, investment discussions, and ecosystem-strengthening meetings, the delegation amplified Africa’s presence within the global innovation space. A landmark achievement of this engagement was the signing of a partnership agreement with the Ministry of Investment, Saudi Arabia (MISA)—a move that paves the way for enhanced investment opportunities, knowledge exchange, and long-term collaboration between Africa and Saudi Arabia. Intel AI Programme for African Deep-Tech Startups Building on its longstanding strategic partnership with Intel, AfriLabs successfully launched the Intel AI Programme for African Deep-Tech Startups and Ecosystem Stakeholders—a transformative initiative designed to accelerate AI adoption and innovation across the continent. This milestone is a testament to the enduring collaboration between AfriLabs and Intel, aimed at fostering technological advancements and empowering Africa’s innovation ecosystem.
