go into real fellowship. Faith in God and others is very important. Grace toward others cannot be omitted. Love toward God and others will aid in fel lowship. Ruling is a word in fellowship often forgotten. There are leaders in the church, authorized by the Lord to rule with diligence. Exhortation means to persuade others to do that which is right. Weeping must not be forgotten. In true Christian fellowship, we are to sorrow with those who grieve, as well as to rejoice with those who are glad. Blessing others is important, and the Bible tells us to bless those who persecute us. Another word is hospitality, which means to be friendly and to en tertain others. The last two words tell us to live peaceably. The Bible says, “ If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.” When Christians follow this rule, they are sure to have fellowship. A good example of this is mentioned in Acts 4:32, 33, “And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he pos sessed was his own but they had all things common. And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resur rection.” Object: A piece of paper 6 inches in diameter, or larger if necessary, lined to represent a globe of the world. (Cut another piece of paper the same size, fold this second piece down the middle, and cut !4 of an inch from the fold. Discard the folded piece. Place these two pieces on the face of the world, leaving a gap between them of *4 inch. Hinge them with a piece of transparent tape at the equator. Down the gap be tween the two pieces, print on the world the following, “ ONE IN CHRIST.’,’ Open the flaps and using the letters in the above words, complete the fol lowing words: “ ESKIMO, GENTILE, JEW, AFRICAN, INDIAN, CHINESE, ENGLISH, SYRIAN, AMERICAN, SI AMESE, and TURK.” With the flaps open, make a red cross on each. When the flaps are closed, place the lines of Sept. 16, 1951 O n e W o r l d W o n

Lesson: We have a drawing repre senting the world. On it are the names of some of the peoples of the world. We do not have space for them all. Those mentioned are different in color, in looks, and in their customs. Realiz ing these differences, people have often wondered whether different nationalities could ever become one. Many plans to unite them have been tried without success. However, there is one plan that has succeeded wherever it has been tried. We shall let this piece of paper show us the way. These two flaps have red crosses on them to remind us of the cross on which the Lord Jesus Christ shed His precious blood to redeem the world from sin. This is what Isaiah had in mind when he wrote, “He was wound ed for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities . . . and with his stripes we are healed” (Isa. 53:5). Now, as we look at the people of the world, cleansed by Christ’s blood, we read, “ ONE IN CHRIST.” All those who receive Him as personal Saviour are made one in Him. More can be done by preaching Christ to the nations than by signing peace pacts. An example of the way in which Christians of all nations become one in Christ is found in Acts 11:29, 30, “ Then the disciples, every man according to his ability, determined to send relief unto the brethren which dwelt in Judea: Which also they did, and sent it to the elders by the hands of Barnabas and Saul.”
