The product on the field is getting better, Gavin says. “For the fifth consecutive year the Guinness PRO14 has seen more tries scored – a record 861 last year. That’s 5.9 per game, which is the highest in European leagues. We also achieved the fastest rucks in club rugby – across both northern and southern hemispheres. “We don’t win every match, however, so we have to ensure people enjoy the experience regardless.
