Appendix: Battery Optimisation and Edge Fee

To optimise your device battery life, while getting the necessary visibility of your assets, we have 3 profiles for you to choose from. Default is Med Resolution, as we’ve found that this level of asset visibility suits most of our customers. Edge Fee is a location lookup fee that supports multiple location technologies (GNSS, WiFi AP MAC Address Scanning and Cell Tower Location), enabling both indoor and outdoor tracking. Edge devices incur a monthly Edge Fee of $0.50-$2.00 depending on profile chosen (Low/Med/High profile). There is no Edge Fee for non-edge devices.
