Statutory Guidance - Working Together Guidance - pupil

What you can expect from those who work together to help, support and protect you Getting the help, support and protection you need can only happen when people work together. Everyone from the practitioners you see or speak to regularly, to the people who are in charge of organisations, are expected to work in ways that get the best results. By following these principles, the people who help and support you will be working to the best of their ability. Like the principles for working with parents and carers, Working Together also tells the people in charge, the people who make sure that you get the help and support you need and the people who you see and speak to, what they need to do. We call these ‘expectations.’ These expectations include how:

they work together

they learn from each other

they make sure there are enough people to help you

they make sure that everyone thinks about all the things that make you who you are

they all get a say about how to get to the best answer
