Dr. Robert Munger, Pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Berkeley, flew down to present a message Monday evening that was destined to increase the prayer bur­ den of every minister present. A sec­ ond message on Tuesday morning by Dr. Munger was one of the great highlights of the day. Dr. J. Edwin Orr, a known authority on revivals, presented two lectures on historic re­ vivals. These were not only helpful, but tremendously challenging. His third message was on how to promote revivals and the results. days with God on this mountain top. More than 250 ministers registered for the conference. They came from as far as San Francisco, San Diego, and Phoenix, Arizona. Plans are al­ ready under way for another such conference in February of 1962, and the tentative dates of February 26- 28 have been set. The place will again be Forest Home. (Dr. Richardson is pastor of the No. Redondo Chapel, Redondo Beach, Cal. He is also Chairman of the Revival Prayer Fellowship of Southern Cali­ fornia, sponsor of this year’s first Annual PASTOR’S PRAYER CON­ FERENCE at Forest Home.)

that they had met God in a new way. It had now become a historic moment in the lives of many of the ministers. Never could they forget the sacred­ ness of the hours that had passed. It was as though they had been with Moses on the mountain, and were to go back to their people with the glow of God on their faces. One pas­ tor said, “ In the 20 years of my min­ istry, this was the most spectacular meeting I have ever attended.” An­ other pastor spoke to his congregation that Wednesday evening of the effect the conference had made upon him. His people attested the fact. These are but two of the many that could be mentioned. Eternity alone will re­ veal the total impact of the three
