HELEN WALNE Helen is an underwater photographer and writer based in Cape Town, South Africa. Her photographic work captures the surprising vibrancy and color of these cold waters, and the magical light that shards through the fronds. Helen has been obsessed with jellyfish since she was a kid, and they are her favourite marine animals to photograph. She has been known to become so entranced by these ethereal creatures that she has risked hyperthermia and becoming lost at sea while following their pulsating paths.
