Over 100 artists from the San Geronimo and Nicasio Valleys showcased their diverse works, transforming the space

into a dynamic reflection of the community’s rich creative spirit. The open- ing reception buzzed with energy as neighbors, families, and art lovers gathered to admire the pieces, enjoy live music, and connect over shared appreciation for local talent. Thank you to the awesome group of volunteers that made check-in seam- less, worked the reception, sat in the galleries on the weekends, and also to the incredible art committee including Larry Rippee, Molly Rea, Tom Tabakin, Donn DeAngelo, Paul and Tina Berensmeier, Madison Lescohier and Julie Young. Final thanks go to the Old Time Music Makers for per- forming again this year. This wonderful tradition of music on the West Portico is another example of what makes this event so special. This year’s exhibition honors the memory of Marshall Krause (1933–2024), a dedicated SGVCC board member and longtime Spring Art Show Committee contributor, whose passion for the arts continues to inspire. Marshall’s widow, Timo Navsky was able to attend the opening reception and spoke of Marshall’s deep appreciation of the Community Center and its arts programs.
