I lead classes that invigorate and replenish the body-mind. You can expect us to begin with a series of gentle movements before we transition to classic yoga poses and mellow flows. A discussion group for seniors. Volunteer peer counselors help senior members of our community sort through the transitions and realities of aging that we all face: the loss of independence and control, isolation, and declining physical health.

Meet Center staff in front of the Community Gym to take a walk around the San Geronimo Commons. The back 9 is flat, level and easy to walk. The walk will last from 45 minutes to an hour. The Elders Advisory Council inspires connections, builds community, and creates opportunities for meaningful engagement. Practicing Tai Chi with other students enriches and deepens your understanding of Tai Chi and builds confidence in your skills. You will have a chance to practice in a warm, supportive, friendly group of fellow students. MAT PILATES WITH PROPS with Allegra Gibson
This is a mat based, back safe pilates class using props such as foam roll- ers and therabands. Great for anyone wanting to increase strength, range of motion, flexibility and quality of daily life. We will integrate breath and movement with proper body mechanics using and challenging your core. Join us for a rejuvenating Crystal Bowl Sound Bath, starting with 15 minutes of gentle move- ment to awaken the body and release tension. This will be followed by a 45-minute sound bath, where the soothing vibrations of crystal singing bowls will envelop you. Sound baths are an ancient healing practice that use sound
frequencies to promote deep relaxation and emotional release, drawing from traditions that date back thousands of years. Please arrive 10 minutes early. Bring a yoga mat, water bottle, and any other items that will make you comfortable laying on the floor for 30 - 45 minutes. ex: pillows, blankets, sleeping bags.
