CAMDENCOUNTY, NJ—The Camden County Improvement Authority approved aMemoran- dum of Understanding (MOU) with Our Lady of Lourdes Medi- cal Center for the construction of an approximately 700-space parking facility to serve the hospital and provide space for other commercial uses. This new parking center, the second to be developed by the CCIA, will allow for the expansion and reconfiguration of Lourdes’ existing campus along Haddon Avenue. Center I, adjacent to Cooper Hospital. The overall project, managed and developed by Grapevine De- velopment, will convert property now used for surface parking or occupied by vacant and/or rundown industrial properties into Haddon Avenue Transit Village, a $90m mixed-use ur- ban neighborhood. This kind of development is made possible by New Jersey’s innovative Urban Transit Hub Tax Credit Pro- gram. The Transit Village will include:a grocery market, retail corridor, 40,000 s/f high quality office space, 250+ market rate workforce housing units, and a structured parking garage. ■
