The penetration depth of the two knives can be adjusted very finely using the adjustment wheel, with eight detents per direction. This allows cables with the same cross- section yet different insulation thick- nesses to be cleanly stripped to the same extent.
The semi-circular pair of blades, which glide smoothly past each other, ensures a precise and comprehensive cut of the insu- lation. Instead of tearing, the insulation is cleanly separated, resulting in a right-angled cut- ting outcome.
