Congratulations to Jeanne Robinson, 1st place winner of WNHGO’s Winter Golf competition. Our first official event of the 2023 season, the Spring Jamboree took place on 21 April. Shout-out to the 1st place winning team comprising Shannon Bibb, Carole Colburn, Marty Griswold, and Jeanne Robinson. WGO-18: Women’s 18 Hole Golf Organization
The WGO-18 ladies hosted its first tournament of the year with its invigorating Spring Fling Tournament held 21 April at Fairfax. The weather was beautiful, and the mixed- handicap foursomes fully enjoyed the step-aside scramble. The winners from a field of 35 competitors posted an impressive score of 56 net (69 gross score)! Huge thank you to Fairfax golf pros Tyler Tucker and Joey Gilman. If you would like to join this fun group of ladies, it’s not too late.
