God’s Not Finished
surrendered their hearts to Jesus for the very first time. Those numbers are powerful, but they don’t even come close to capturing the depth of what God was doing. What made the biggest impact weren’t just the moments at the altar, but the conversations in between. We sat across from men who felt like their story was over, men who believed their mistakes had defined them forever. And yet, in those moments, we got to look them in the eye and say, “God’s not finished with you. He is still writing your story.” We listened to their fears, their regrets, and their questions. At the same time, twenty-seven men went into Travis State Jail, and, for the very first time in our church’s history, Victory City was able to put on a full service. That moment alone felt like holy ground. More than one hundred men packed into the room—not because of us, but because God was already stirring something in their hearts. We sang, we prayed, we preached the Word, and in the middle of it all, God’s Spirit moved in a mighty way. Seventeen men were baptized, boldly declaring that their old life was gone and they were stepping into new life in Christ. Over fifteen men
