A great way to get yourself out there and be noticed by the public

REALTOR ADVERTISING

How would I get started? When you are trying to get yourself out there, you should find someone to help you, preferably someone who has experience marketing or de - signing so they can help you make a website or an ad that will look presentable to atrac - tive to the public. You want people to see who you are. People want someone who is reliable, honest and helpful when it comes to an type of Real Estate work. If you are someone who wants to do it advertise themselves here are some ideas.

What is Advertising when it comes to Real Estate Advertising is a form of communication that uses signs, symbols, or actions to create or raise awareness of a business or products, promote a brand, or bring in customers. Advertising for real estate attracts sellers, buyers, investors, renters, or other persons interested in the services or products offered. Some of the forms ofadvertising may include any one or a combination of the following; Social media ads, Printed material (flyers, handouts, newspapers, etc) mag - azines, brochures, business cards), Electronic media (internet, websites, text messages, tele - phone calls, emails, television radio, cinema, streaming video and audio).

Create an Impressive Home Page Did you know that 75% of people admit to judging the credibility of a business based on its website design? First impressions matter, which is why your homepage should be in top shape. This means vibrant images, a prominent call to action, and an intuitive menu. This page should be filled with infor - mation about yourself. Educate your Buyers Some of the most trying days as a real estate agent prove to be great lessons we can share with our clients. Talking about common real estate pitfalls makes your buyers smarter, giving them a smoother browsing experi - ence and qualifying them to work with you. Social media is the perfect outlet for this. Chat with Followers Home buyers today expect instant respons - es to their questions, but where they ask those questions has changed. Home buyers are calling real estate agents much less than they used to with questions about a prop - erty or neighborhood. They’re going online, using Facebook’s Recommendations.

Property Photos Property photos are a must for realtors on social media, especially on Instagram and Facebook. You can give clients a sneak peek of what to expect from the property and entice them to reach out to you to learn more through a virtual or in-person tour. You can also share videos and posts other social media platforms. We strongly recommend hiring a professional real estate photographer to handle your listings. Professionals will be able to employ those magic tricks. Realtor Blogs Relationships between agents and clients are important, as they trust you to take to heart the things that they care about and point them in the right direction. As a result, using social media to share realtor bios is worth considering. Your au - dience can learn more about what you offer and reach out if it feels like a good match. If you’re looking for more supporting information, the statistics below will further emphasize the impor - tance of using social media for real estate. Blogs are informal articles written for the purpose of showing thought leadership and expertise. Real Estate Statistics In 2020, 44% of real estate agents generated the most clients via social media, only topped by referrals. 82% of agents plan to improve their social media presence to grow their business in 2021. The National Association of Realtors 2021 Realtor Technology survey found that 53% of respondents say that social media is one of the most valuable technology tools they use. 74% of realtors use Facebook for professional purposes. Clubhouse, a social media app that prioritizes audio, has real es - tate conversation clubs with over 50k follow - ers. 81% of older millennials, 80% of younger millennials, and 78% of Gen X found their home on a mobile device. At the end of the day, your followers may prove themselves to be your strongest property advocates. If you take the time to create a social media pres - ence that includes high-quality photos of the properties you sell, you interact with clients.

House Buying Trends

Importance of Social Media It may not seem like the right channel to use for your industry, but using social media for real estate has various benefits. Most significantly, there are more than 3.78 billion social media users globally, and the average person spends close to 2 ½ hours using social media every single day. So, statistically speaking, your audience is already on social me - dia — why not meet them where they already are? Lastly, having a social media presence helps you build brand awareness and generate trust with your audi - ence. They may not be ready to make a purchase yet.

While social media has always been a tool for realtors to lever - age, COVID-19 has brought it center stage. One of the big - gest changes is the rise of vir - tual showings. Some agencies reserved virtual viewings for specific circumstances or lux - ury homes, but it has now be - come a common practice: “We used to keep our virtual tours for our luxury homes, but we’ve found it adds to the home buy - ing experience for our clients,” says Lisa Alexander, president of Del-Co Realty. As health and safety restrictions are lifted, virtual showings are likely here

Buyers searching for new homes in locations they’re not in can save time and money on trav - el costs until they’re sure about their options. The length of the searching process is also lowered, as buyers can view mul - tiple homes in a short pe - riod via online video or virtual tour, as opposed to waiting weeks for an open house or for there to be a space for them during a showing. You can use many different platforms to advirtise.

Promote the Town not just the House Homebuyers want to know the good, bad, and ugly of each town to which they’re con - sidering a move. Yet, most real estate blogs simply give buyers basic demographic sta - tistics and perhaps some flowery language about the area. Instead, use your social media channels to provide potential clients a far richer understanding of the markets Don’t Forget about Video It’s tempting to skip the expense of shoot - ing and editing a video, but online video is an important element of home marketing. Think about it: Home buyers are visual buyers, and if done well, a video creates an emotional connection with them that they might not have from just a photo-based listing. YouTube videos also improve your website’s ranking in search engines like Google, a common place where home buy - ers and renters start their search for a new home. Talking to Yourself A post, link, photo, or tweet on your profile might look nice to you, but it means very little if it doesn’t resonate with the people who are following your page. Social media is more about listening than about talking. Pay attention to what people are saying about you and your brand. Solicit and gath - er feedback through informal polls or via free survey services like Survey Monkey or Google Forms. This will ensure each and every piece of content you share on social media reflects the interests of your custom - ers. People need to be heard becuase thats how you know what people want. You want to make sure you meet your clients needs and not just think what would be best for you. Clients may have a different opinion than you, even if you don’t like it. Clients come first.

What Provide Realtors There are several reasons why homeowners should buy or sell with a Realtor, including the professional’s high ethical standards, wide network, and searching and negotiat - ing expertise. Because Realtors are part of their local professional network as well as the national network, they are provided with additional continuing education to fine-tune their skills, tools to negotiate and develop contracts, and deeper connections to other members in the real estate business. Mem - bership as a Realtor in the NAR also comes with access to market data and transaction management services, as well as other bene - fits, which can simplify the buying and sell - ing process. Real Estate Agent Qualifications Real estate agents are also state-licensed and must take a course and pass a written license exam before legally acting as a real estate agent. Each state has its own licensing laws and standards of practice. Some states— like Illinois—have eliminated the real estate license and mandate all agents take addi - tional coursework and pass another test to become brokers. They are broker associates still selling under a managing broker. This would also be applicable to broker associates still selling under a managing broker. How much Realtors spend on Advertising In a survey of representatives of the real es - tate agents and managers industry in the United States, it was found that in 2021 the sector spent over 661 million U.S. dollars on advertising. In the preceding year, the ad expenditures for the industry amounted to around 374 million dollars. Sponsored posts can be incredibly lucrative, as well. Real es - tate agents will pay a premium to have their own words and images published alongside editorial content.

Home Listings It’s fine to let people know about the homes you’re mar - keting, but don’t make the house itself the primary topic of your conversation. Think about common questions home buyers and sellers ask you, and turn these into posts. Provide valuable con - tent and you’ll keep people coming back. Put yourself out there and let people come to you and notice the home listing by your advertising, trying to hard can sometimes not be ther best path.

Advertisments It may not seem like the right channel to use for your industry, but using social media for real estate has various benefits. Most significantly, there are more than 3.78 billion social media users globally, and the average person spends close to 2 ½ hours using social media every single day. So, statistically speaking, your audi - ence is already on social media, why not meet them where they already are? Second, social me - dia also offers targeted advertis - ing options tailored to audiences in specific locations isn’t that just what realtors look for?

Veiwers Feedback All social media platforms are a great place to answer audi - ence questions, as you can en - gage with your audience and develop a rapport that leads to a working relationship. Anoth - er benefit to answering ques - tions publicly is that it’s pub - lic, and everyone can see your responses. This can help in - terested buyers approach you with qualified, further-down- the-funnel questions. Answer - ing questions can get people to know that you care what they have to say and they will sup - port you.

Develop Marketing Campaigns Send a monthly newsletter roundup of your blog content, and reach out to contacts when new property listings are available. Include images of the properties that link to the full listing, a video walkthrough of the property, or a virtual staging of the home. How can you pique buyer interest? Give them a sneak preview of what the home looks like by using a virtual staging website. Partner with Local Businesses Use your local connections and partner with clothing boutiques, home decor showrooms, and coffee shops to promote listings — and invite them to participate in an open house event. For a unique way to encourage prospects to visit your open house, set up pop-up shops in different rooms of the house. This encourages potential buyers to explore each room, and you can work with the local businesses to determine discounts on goods that can be offered to the home buyers. Use Drone Photography Take sweeping shots of the home’s exterior and surrounding landscape using drone photography. Purchase a drone or use a drone service, like HouseLens or Sold by Air, to capture the perfect shot. Use the photos to add an excitement factor to your listings. Video can be used to supplement your virtual tours or walkthroughs and show exterior features like patios and pools. Don't have the drone photography chops you need to show your clients' homes in their best light? Services like Drone Base have thousands of experienced photographers around the globe.
