eration, Bähren annually produces more than 1.5 billion secondary packaging products, including package inserts, combination products and self-adhesive labels. In January 2025, the company became part of the Körber Group un- der Körber Pharma Packaging. Until recently, Bähren operated exclusively with offset and digital printing technologies. With the new MPS EFA press, the company is embracing roll-fed flexographic printing for the first time. The press was delivered with an advanced configura- tion tailored to meet the stringent demands of pharmaceu- tical label production. Among the press’s key advantages are its multi-layer printing capabilities, intuitive operation, and efficient dry- ing processes. The technology also allows for on-the-fly changes by enabling make-ready or teardown of unused print units during production. Sustainability has long been a core value for Bähren, and this investment supports that commitment. The press features energy-saving UV-LED drying and operates on renewable electricity.
