Section 14. The duty of the Spring Fling Coordinator is to oversee the overall execution of the event. She will oversee a Committee made up of 3 members from the Junior class and 3 members SELECTED from the IN- COMING SOPHOMORE CLASS each year for a total of 7 members to make up the Spring Fling committee. The Coordinator will serve as the lead- er and be the person in charge of the overall event. Section 15. Meetings are led by officers and committee members with the sponsor(s) in attendance. ARTICLE VII - THE CLUB SPONSOR(S) Section 1. The club sponsor(s) shall be responsible for the direst day - to - day supervision of the chapter and act as liaison between faculty, admin- istration, students, and community. Section 2. The club sponsor(s) shall maintain files on membership, chapter history, activities, and financial transactions. Section 3. The club sponsor(s) shall regularly review each member for compliance with the Rosebud Junior Garden Club standards and obligations. Section 4. The club sponsor(s) shall help the club officers understand and carry out their duties. ARTICLE VIII - MEETINGS & EVENTS Section 1. The regular meetings of this chapter shall be no more than once a month during the school days or on an afternoon following school hours as designated by the sponsor(s) and with principal notification. Section 2. Eight members shall constitute a quorum. The sponsor(s) and the president must approve all meetings, with at least one sponsor in attendance. Section 3. Members are expected to attend all meetings unless they are absent from school on the day of the meeting due to participating in another school function, have a death in the family, or have an illness. Section 4. Attendance is taken at every meeting. Any member who missed more than two regularly scheduled meetings without prior approval from the sponsor(s) shall be recommended for dismissal from membership in this club at the discretion of the sponsor and campus principal. ARTICLE IX - THE PRINCIPAL Section 1. The principal shall reserve the right to approve all activities and decisions of the club. Section 2. The principal shall annually appoint a chapter sponsor(s), who may serve consecutive terms. Section 3. The principal shall be in attendance at any events if they choose to participate, but it is not required. 13
