Q: I would like to ask about a vacancy as an Assistant Waiter. I have 1 contract experience onboard and now work as a restaurant & bar supervisor. Is it possible to apply?

We have a variety of different restaurants onboard from Steakhouse, Sea Food restaurant to Pizzerias- please check the Carnival main website for further details of all of our outlets - they vary by ship Q: Can you please explain what kind of restaurants are available on Carnival Cruise Line?

TOPIC 2 AGE & QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Carnival Team Members need to be between 21 and 67 years old – and must retire prior to turning 67. Q: What is the maximum age for new hires to start a career at Carnival? The requirements are detailed on the Job Description. Denial after HireVue is more likely due to reading or googling answers, not being confident in answering the questions or communication challenges. Q: Can you tell me the photographer qualifications required for onboard Carnival Cruise? I was denied for the HireVue session. If you already received Job Offer, Indonesia nations required for Passport, Seamen book, Basic Safety Training, MCU, and VISA C1/D Q: What certificates are required for new hires who want to join a ship?

TOPIC 3 RECRUITMENT & APPLICATION PROCESS
English communication skills, previous experience and positive personality. Q: What are the key points or qualities that recruiters focus on during the final interview? Applications Complete status means you have completed the interview process and have been approved for job offer once there is space onboard - Talent Pool means the interview steps are not completed but that there are no available openings. Q: What is the difference between 'Talent Pool' and 'Application Complete' status?
Please be patient, we process applications based on openings onboard - some roles are processed faster due to higher numbers of available positions. Q: I already applied via TopKarir but have not yet received a call for an interview. What should I do? This varies by positions but should be no longer and 3 months if in Application Complete -Talent Pool will be longer. Q: I’m really looking forward to my turn to work at Carnival. How many months do I usually have to wait for a job offer after the application is complete?

CONTRACT & WORK CONDITIONS
Depends on the role but hotel positions average 6-9 months followed by 2 months’ vacation Q: How long is one contract onboard?
Approx 2 months Q: Usually, how long is the free time offboard when we disembark?
Every team Member is scheduled for up to 10 hours per day, 7 days per week. Q: How many working hours per day at Carnival?
The job details are available in the Job Description on the website, the work hours are up to 10 hours per day. Q: Could you explain the working job & hours as an Assistant Storekeeper?
Q: Regarding cross-training, is it possible to move to another department?
We do have a Department Change process, however we do not do cross training and anyone applying for an alternative department must have the necessary previous experience in the role to be eligible to apply.
