This shows that what started as a localised response to police brutality, became

a global phenomenon with people standing in solidarity in the fight against racial

injustices. Within the month, over 550 protests were carried out across the U.S.,

as shown in Figure 6, with an additional 40 other countries participating in

demonstrations.
