alumni news Jack ’50 and Linda (Woelk ’47, ’50) Henderson left Peru and spent a month in Mexico, then to the United States until the end of their furlough. Thais Good ’49, Dilla, Ethiopia: “ Here we dwell and a whole row of routine days can he gilded with glory, for here also dwells the King. W e work for royalty! How we forget when a swarm of annoy ances dim the glow. The school days of the first term have disappeared from the calendar. W e kept almost a ninety aver age. There are eight new little princes— sons of the King, in spite of the strict injunction by earthly fathers not to be lieve.” Angelo Zaffuto ’60 and family, Los Angeles, California: “After much prayer and consideration we felt certain that God was leading Andy to the First Baptist Church of Canoga Park as their Minister of Youth. This does not mean that we will be completely separated from Youth En terprise; on the contrary, we plan to con tinue to support this essential work. Be cause of our new avenue of service we will no longer be able to remain on their staff.” William Pietsch ’49 and his family are serving the Lord with TEAM in Pakistan. Al ’46 and Evelyn (Dick ’46) Classen, Dallas, Texas: “ Evelyn is taking care of the house and keeping us fed. She also is taking a Bible Study class in Dallas Semi nary on Thursday night. Ronald and Douglas are going to school, David keeps us entertained and busy, and I am going to Seminary. The Lord has given oppor tunity for service in a home Bible class. The class attendance runs around 20 to 34. While we will need to discontinue our relationship with the Sudan Interior Mis sion after May, because of staying home for an indefinite period of time, our hearts will often long for Africa where the Lord gave us many years of service that we shall never forget.” Marjorie Thompson ’40, Venezuela: “ I enjoyed working with the women this past year, but will be happy to see one of them take the presidency this year. Although they all say they are not capable, I be lieve there are several who are and who could do a good job with God’s help.” Alvin ’36 and Minnie L. (Wallace ’36) Lewis, Venezuela: “W e are successfully through with this term of the school year. Practical work report is as follows: 603 persons visited; 135 children’s classes; 52 adult classes; 72 sermons preached, with 4510 the total attendance; 33 confessions of faith; 3001 tracts distributed, 93 Gos pels, 13 Bibles, 9 New Testaments and 2 magazines. The pastor of the Caripe church is a student; the new congregation in Teresen has a student pastor, and a student acts as leader of the congregation in Periquito. No serious discipline problem has had to be handled, for which we are thankful to God.”

The mere factthat these days are truly CRISIS DAYS is, in itself, fulfillment of God's prophetic Word, and the nations will rage until He comes again. Questions are posed, and the authors go to the Bible for the answers; Will we wit ness a general revival in our time? What does the prophetic Word reveal about the future of Russia? Romanism? Israel? Apos tasy? The authors, students of Bible pro phecy, do not attempt to set fulfillment dates, but rather, plead for an awareness, by believer %nd unbeliever alike, to the signs of the end of the age.
