Alexis Randolph Born in Fort Worth, TX, Alexis Randolph is currently an Assistant Band Director in their hometown serving the community since 2020. As a performer, Alexis is the primary drummer for several local bands in DFW and is continuing to build a presence as a singer/songwriter. Since 2016, Alexis has toured across the U.S. and has been featured on albums with bands past and present in genres ranging from Ska to Country. Jennifer Ratchford Sholtis Jennifer Ratchford Sholtis is the Professor of Horn at Texas A&M University- Kingsville and the recent host of the 54th International Horn Symposium. She is a passionate supporter and advocate of the International Horn Society’s vision, mission, and goals and has served in three leadership roles, the Texas Area Representative and currently as the United States Area Representative Coordinator and IHS Advisory Council . Her students have attended and performed in several symposia throughout the years and successfully competed in many competitions. Dr. Sholtis has influenced horn pedagogy in Texas through 27 years of Javelina Horn graduates, school clinics, TMEA, and horn symposia. She thrives on sharing her knowledge with her students, inspiring and encouraging them to prepare the next generation of horn players. Mica Redden Horn player and composer, Mica Redden (they/them), earned their Bachelor of Music degree at Virginia Commonwealth University. They went on to receive their Master of Music degree from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music where they also pursued their Doctor of Music degree. Mica maintains a busy studio and freelancing career in Indianapolis. They have performed with the Oregon Symphony, Richmond Symphony, Indianapolis Symphony, and the Louisville Orchestras, as well as the Indianapolis Opera, and the Queen City Opera in Cincinnati. In 2016, Mica held the position of Fourth Horn with la Orquesta Filarmónica de Jalisco in Guadalajara with whom they performed at the famous Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico City and at the International Cervantino Festival in Guanajuato. As a studio musician, Mica has recorded for an array of commercial and educational projects, including those for the Hal Leonard Corporation.
