From the desk of Dr. Chris Causey, Director of CC Schools Dear Students, Happy New Year! Can you believe it is 2023? This year is special to me because in late February, I will be 50 years old! It is ironic that this particular issue of Let’s Talk Trash news is about our amazing bodies! Even with the all the scientists and doctors across the world who study the human body, they learn new things every day. Our body is a well-designed machine that runs every day, 24/7, and survives for decades. It is our responsibility to keep it in good shape, put healthy food into it, and go to the doctor when we get sick. When I was in elementary school, we used to watch a show called Slim Goodbody, where a man wore a suit that showed all the organs inside of him! I looked forward to this show every time. Today, there are lots of resources that your teachers can give you to learn about what makes our bodies move. Check them
