ER SRBIJA I SAVEZ SLEPIH SRBIJE POTPISALI SPORAZUM AIR SERBIA AND BLIND UNION SIGN COOPERATION AGREEMENT U AVIONIMA UPUTSTVA I NA BRAJEVOM PISMU INSTRUCTIONS IN BRAILLE ON FLIGHTS Cilj su zajedničke aktivnosti u cilju podizanja svesti javnosti o izazovima s kojima se suočavaju slepe i slabovide osobe / The initiating of these joint activities aims to raise public awareness of the challenges faced by blind and visually impaired individuals

SPORAZUM IMA ZA CILJ dalje unapređenje opšteg položaja i kva- liteta života slepih i slabovidih oso- ba i njime se pokreću projekti koji bi usluge Er Srbije trebalo da uči- ne dostupnijim i pristupačnijim za tu grupu putnika. Prvi put u istori- ji kompanije, na inicijativu Saveza slepih Srbije, u avione Er Srbije biće uvedena uputstva za postupanje u vanrednim okolnostima na Braje- vom pismu. – Naša kompanija se kontinui- rano zalaže za jednaka prava za sve putnike. Rado smo se odazvali po- zivu Saveza slepih Srbije i zajedno sa njima pripremili uputstvo za po- stupanje u vanrednim okolnostima na Brajevom pismu koje će se usko- ro naći u našim avionima. Na taj na- čin želimo da olakšamo putovanja slepih i slabovidih i motivišemo ih da lete. Kroz uvođenje različitih ma- terijala na Brajevom pismu, ali i dru- ge zajedničke aktivnosti, trudićemo se da damo doprinos stvaranju in- kluzivnijeg okruženja – rekao je Jirži Marek, generalni direktor Er Srbije. – Saradnja sa Er Srbijom pred- stavlja veliki korak napred u ostvari- vanju naših ciljeva. Zajednički ćemo raditi na kreiranju novih i inovativnih rešenja koja mogu olakšati svakod- nevni život slepih i slabovidih oso- ba, posebno u oblasti putovanja – istakao je Milan Stošić, predsednik Saveza slepih Srbije. Pored materijala na Brajevom pismu, dogovorene su i druge ak- tivnosti na polju edukacije zaposle- nih srpske nacionalne avio-kom- panije, ali i cele javnosti, u vezi sa položajem i svakodnevnim potre- bama slepih i slabovidih osoba.

We were pleased to respond to the invitation of the Union of the Blind of Serbia and, to- gether with them, prepared emer- gency procedure instructions in Bra- ille, which will soon be available on our flights. We thus aim to ease tra- vel for blind and visually impaired in- dividuals and to encourage them to

fly. By introducing various materials in Braille, as well as through other jo- int activities, we will strive to contri- bute to creating a more inclusive en- vironment,” said Air Serbia CEO Jiri Marek. “The cooperation with Air Serbia represents a significant step forward in achieving our goals. We will to- gether work to create new and in- novative solutions that can ease the daily lives of blind and visually impa- ired people, particularly in the area of travel,” emphasised Milan Stošić, president of the Union of the Blind of Serbia. In addition to Braille materials, other activities were agreed upon, including the education of em- ployees of Serbia’s national airline and raising public awareness regar- ding the position and daily needs of blind and visually impaired persons.
