Talk to a local Small Business Development Center counselor (see page 8) or visit a Procurement Technical Assistance Program adviser. Find your closest center at aptac-us.org .
Obtain a free DUNS number at fedgov.dnb.com/webform .
Register with the System for Award Management ( sam.gov ) to start doing business with the government. Are you eligible for SBA certification programs? Read more about the 8(a), woman-owned small business, and HUBZone programs. Find out if you are eligible and upload all required documents to certify.sba.gov . Submit an offer at beta.sam.gov on a contract that fits your business.
