Prices are at all-time highs but I’m not sure that profits are. One fact remains unchanged – Some cattle make money while others do not. The American Angus Association introduced a new trait selection in May of 2025 called Functional Longevity. We were pleased but not surprised to learn that our herd excels in this trait. I have always worried more about teat and udder than yearling weights. I consider feet and legs before marbling. You want the truth? CATTLE THAT DON’T LAST DON’T MAKE MONEY! We have bred and fed this group of bulls to be profitable for their new owners for a LONG TIME. We know from feed back that our bulls last, but I think the real profit is from the daughters you keep from our bulls. I would urge you to look through ALL the pens as there are some favorites throughout the sale. All bulls have genomic enhanced EPD’s by Angus GS DNA testing and are free of all known genetic defects. All bulls are parent verified and passed a semen/fertility examination. Genomic Rankings are listed for each bull in the back of catalog. We also have loads of information not listed in this catalog.
