Peu de gens ont pu résister au défi du taureau mécanique à la foire agricole de Riceville et Anneke Chambers d’Embrun a relevé le défi. « Nous voulons que la foire soit une activité à laquelle les gens peuvent participer et pas seulement regarder », a déclaré Corina Sharp, présidente de la Riceville Agricultural Society. La foire de trois jours du weekend du 25 août mettait en vedette des expositions traditionnelles de fruits et de produits locaux, ainsi que des démonstrations de talents équestres, des spectacles de musique country en direct, le défi des pompiers et d’autres activités amusantes. —photo Gregg Chamberlain
