WHAT IS A BUDDED BARE ROOT ROSE?
Budded bare root roses feature roots from a different, specially cultivated variety. While the canes will blossom into the stunning roses you've chosen, these robust roots are designed for enhanced hardiness and resistance to common diseases and varying weather conditions. The roots of our budded roses are two years old, ensuring they'll establish themselves quickly and thrive in your garden. With the proper care, you'll enjoy beautiful blooms in no time! Bare root roses are harvested in December and January and shipped to gardeners mid- January through early-April. Bare root roses are shipped based on the gardener’s climate when it is safe to plant outdoors.
