Annemarie Verwaaijen-Kalsbeek sat down with the GPA to discuss what she has learned in her payroll career, and how she pushes for evolutionary change for the overall payroll industry and her employer. Her career has taken her from her native Netherlands to Luxembourg and then Germany. Annemarie now lives in America. As the Vice President of Global Payments, Global Mobility and Immigration at S&P Global, she leads teams that currently pay some 40,000 people across 44 countries, handle all aspects of global relocations, and deal with country-by-country visa compliance. Annemarie is a continuous learner with three Master’s Degrees (more recently a certificate in artificial intelligence from Columbia Business School) and notes that if you continue to learn, it will make you a more well-rounded leader. s Payroll with ie Verwaaijen-Kalsbeek
