EVANGELISTIC NOTICES T he F ather and S on E vangelists , C. E. Hedrick and Henry E. Hedrick (Biola, ’32), are finding many open doors for evangel istic engagements. In the fall of 1936, meetings which were blessed of the Lord were held in the First Baptist Church, Miami, Ariz., where Charles L. Kau, a former Biola student, is the pastor; in Su perior, Ariz., and in the First Baptist Church, South Gate, Calif., where Fred Jordan ministers. The Hedricks’ itinerary will take them, the Lord willing, to Strath more, Calif., for a campaign beginning about February 1. For more than three and a half years, Dr. Hedrick, in addition to pastoral and evangelistic work, was heard regularly over Radio Station KGER, Long Beach, in a program that exalted the Lord Jesus Christ. His son Henry has also had experience in radio work, having been staff announcer for programs representing the John Brown University, Siloam Springs, Ark., the in stitution from which he received the degree of Bachelor of Arts in May, 1936. In their meetings, the younger Hedrick, being an able musician, has charge of the music and is heard in vocal and instru mental numbers. He also has been greatly used of the Lord in giving heart-to-heart talks to young people, the messages having resulted in many instances in the glad sur render of young men and women to Christ and in their forsaking of worldly attrac tions. The Hedricks have open dates in March and April. Their ministry, which is inter denominational in character, honors the Word of God, stresses the need for per sonal soul-winning on the part of all Chris tians, and emphasizes child evangelism. They may be addressed: Father and Son Evangelists, 236 E. Tenth St., Long Beach, Calif. H erbert J. M c N eese , 634 Thirteenth Ave., New Brighton, Pa., is an evangelist affiliated with the Independent Funda mental Churches. He is available for serv ices in small or large churches in the East and requests prayer for his work. T he W m . F. R awlins E vangelistic P arty closed, on December 20, a two-weeks’ evangelistic campaign in the Emmanuel Baptist Church, Akron, Ohio. There were forty-nine decisions for Christ during the campaign, and the children’s meetings which Mr. and Mrs. Rawlins held each afternoon had an average attendance of 142, many of the children definitely receiv ing the Saviour. Remaining in Akron for the following week, Mr. and Mrs. Rawlins held meet ings in the Goss Memorial Reformed Church of that city. From January 3 to 17, they were scheduled for meetings in the Gospel Tabernacle, Findlay, Ohio. The Rawlins party can be addressed at SS8 S. Hope St., Los Angeles, Calif., and they earnestly request the prayers of readers o f T he K ing ’ s B usiness . The March issue of THE KING’S BUSINESS will contain information about the Twentieth Annual Meeting of the World’s Christian Funda mentals Association. As the present issue goes to press, delegates are assembled at the Bible Institute of Los Angeles from all parts of the nation, and the Lord’s blessing upon speakers and audiences is being evidenced in a marked way.
