CIPP members can now access the 2021-22 Payroll: need to know document on the Policy Hub.
The document lists all the News Online articles for tax year 2021-22, broken down by category for members to see all of the year's news consolidated in one place. The policy team will create this document each tax year, to publish at tax year end, but urge members to ensure they're signed up to receive the weekly News Online email. This will allow them to keep up-to-date with all the latest developments in the world of payroll, pensions and reward.

Health and social care levy factsheet now live Published: 7 April 2022 Emailed: 13 April 2022
CIPP members can now access the new factsheet giving an overview of the health and social care levy. This factsheet and others are available from our policy hub.
Factsheets are a fantastic membership benefit; covering many topics in easy to understand terms. They can be used to develop processes, refresh understanding or to train and develop new starters. If members have queries more detailed than covered in the factsheets, the advisory service is available to assist.
The policy team will be expanding the library of factsheets to include more commonly requested topics such as holiday pay, directors’ NI and the McCloud remedies.

New CIPP webcast: Expenses and benefits overview Published: 15 June 2022 Emailed: 15 June 2022
The CIPP policy team has released the latest addition to its online webcasts entitled 'Expenses and benefits overview'. The policy team's webcasts are targeted short sessions designed to increase members' knowledge around specific areas. The aim of these webcasts is to provide overviews and updates around topics in which the team feel many payroll professionals may have gaps in their knowledge. The latest webcast entitled 'Expenses and benefits overview' provides a refresher on all the responsibilities of an employer when processing expenses and benefits.
