Welcome to Kennedy

Dear Prospective Kennedy Family,

Thank you for exploring this digital Look Book and considering the transformational journey of a K–12 Catholic education for your child. Choosing a school is one of the most profound decisions a family makes, and we are honored that you are taking the time to discover what it means to become part of the John F. Kennedy Catholic School community. At Kennedy, we don't just educate students—we form young men and women of conscience and purpose, the future leaders of our church and world. Our unique K-12 environment on two campuses is designed to provide a seamless and supportive experience from their very first day in Kindergarten through the pride of graduation. This unified approach, guided by our core values of Courage, Integrity and Dedication, ensures that every student is known, valued, and challenged to reach their God-given potential. Our mission is centered on the development of the whole child: mind, body, and spirit. Within our faith-filled community that incorporates daily prayer and weekly Mass, your child will find academic rigor matched with deep spiritual growth and character formation. From foundational phonics program to an expansive college preparatory curriculum, including Advanced Placement and Dual Enrollment courses, we are committed to excellence. Our recent graduates, the Class of 2025, were offered $10.7 million in collegiate scholarships, demonstrating the exceptional preparation they receive for collegiate success and beyond. This look book will give you a glimpse into our vibrant classrooms, strong service ministry programs, competitive athletics, and diverse student life. However, the true spirit of Kennedy —the sense of family and faith that defines us—can only be felt in person. When you are ready for the next step, I invite you to reach out, attend an admissions event, or schedule a personal tour. I look forward to meeting you and your child, answering your questions, and helping you discover how a Kennedy education can shape their future.

Warmly,

Mission and Ministry Our school is a Roman Catholic, faith-based institution that welcomes students of all faiths. We incorporate daily prayer and hold weekly Mass to foster spiritual growth. Throughout the year, students participate in various service projects such as St. Vincent de Paul Food and Clothing drives, Relay for Life, and Jump Rope for Heart. Additionally, we observe the Living Stations of the Cross and host a Penance Service during Advent and Lent. Our Liturgical Choir enhances our liturgical celebrations, and we offer annual on-campus retreats to provide students with opportunities for reflection and spiritual development.

At John F. Kennedy Catholic School, we foster academic excellence grounded in Catholic values, building a foundation for moral living and lifelong success. Our foundational phonics and writing program develops fluent, articulate readers. We expand horizons beyond the traditional classroom with innovative opportunities, including a five-week Enrichment Program and a unique partnership with The Ohio State University's Diamond Grove Scholars, which immerses elementary students in the forefront of space research. The Kennedy experience is defined by our vibrant "Kennedy Family"—a community where students thrive in a culture filled with laughter and a deep sense of belonging. This welcoming atmosphere is a daily priority, ensuring students feel supported and parents build lasting friendships. Underpinning this nurturing environment is our top priority: student safety. We provide peace of mind through extensive, modern security measures, including new exterior doors, ballistic windows, interior remote access doors, and the presence of a dedicated School Resource Officer. At the heart of our Upper Campus is a commitment to fostering spiritual growth, compassionate service, and a deep understanding of faith. We guide our students to become thoughtful, ethical leaders, grounded in Catholic teaching. Spiritual life is woven into the fabric of our school, from the peace of daily prayer and weekly Mass to the grace of weekly Confession and the powerful experience of annual class retreats, we provide a supportive space for students to deepen their personal relationship with God. We believe that faith is best expressed through action. Our students learn the importance of servant leadership and the joy of making a difference in the world around them. This commitment is highlighted by our annual Day of Service, a day when our entire community comes together for hands-on lessons in compassion. Each high school House sponsors a non profit and runs a project benefitting their chosen charity. It is also lived out through student- led initiatives like S.O.A.R. (Serve Others And Rise) & Interact Club which empower students to identify needs, organize projects, and develop the leadership skills and lifelong commitment to service that define our graduates.
