Junior High Experience CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES Religious Education Retreat (Grades 6-8) - The heart of our mission as a Catholic institution of learning, students spend the day in retreat off-campus at a Catholic church in the Youngstown Diocese in the fall. The focus is on spiritual reflection, team building and various guided activities designed to strengthen their personal relationship with God and each other. Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage - As the culmination of their Anne Frank unit in language arts, the 8th grade visits the Maltz Museum in Cleveland, whose mission is ‘building bridges of tolerance and understanding by sharing Jewish heritage through the lens of the American experience’. Camp Fitch - Students participate in this annual three-day outdoor recreation education program providing experiential learning in a nature based environment. They learn historical skills as well as team building and improved communication skills. Ohio Trip - Experience an unforgettable Ohio adventure as you tour historic sites like the Statehouse and Mansfield Penitentiary, enjoy a scenic river cruise, visit the Cincinnati Zoo and Newport Aquarium, and run on the legendary field of the Buckeyes.
