Ventnor Botanic Garden
Barton Manor Barton Manor is one of the most romantic and historic venues on the Isle of Wight. Guests arrive along the glorious tree-lined drive for a ceremony in the extensive formal gardens laid out by King Edward VII, or within one of the licenced farm buildings built by Prince Albert. Couples and their guests can enjoy the yew hedge maze, the pond walk or the ancient woodland. The estate is secluded and private, hosting only a handful of weddings per year.
Your wedding could be set in 22 acres of paradise bursting with exotic, rare and endangered plants at Ventnor Botanic Garden. A wedding venue offering both indoor and outdoor locations for either a ceremony or reception with the option of spending your whole wedding day at the Garden. Small and large ceremonies and receptions can be catered for, from 2 to 400 people with 4 licenced spaces for ceremonies and use of four different reception spaces including the immersive New Zealand Garden.
Sir Max Aitken Museum This historic pink building on the Cowes waterfront provides a venue that is both unique and atmospheric, with a wonderful full-length balcony overlooking the Solent, allowing additional space for your guests to relax and mingle. At high tide, steps also enable access from the water. Inside the 18th-century former sail-loft is a wonderful collection of paintings, memorabilia, trophies and artefacts put together by the late Sir Max Aitken, and which today creates a memorable backdrop for your special day.
