Editor’s COMMENT INVESTING IN THE FUTURE Great to see so many new and familiar faces at Electex Dublin. The show was a huge success in its new venue, the National Indoor Arena in Blanchardstown. See ps84- 85 for our review of the vibrant event and ps16-17 for information on how to book for Electex Limerick and Dublin 2026. Features include a 16-page Focus on Power Supply, case study of the impressive new NRC campus in Ballymena, and a showcase of recent industry events from trade organisation M&ECA’s annual golf outing to events held by Monaghan Electrical Wholesaler in Cavan and Edmundson Electrical in Belfast. This edition also highlights the electrical industry’s confidence in its future with bold investment and expansion plans. Among ambitious companies featured are Co Louth-based Bellew Electrical, which has opened three new Cable and Accessories branches since acquiring the wholesaler in late 2024. Co Armagh-based Irwin M&E has, meanwhile, marked its 30th anniversary with a £2m investment in a new head office, while Precision in Co Tyrone has invested in a rebrand and launched a recruitment drive as it gears up for global expansion.
