Hanover Systems worked closely with Heron Bros and NUGENT to supply all switchgear for the new NRC Ballymena campus. The company used Hager components in the main switchboard and switchgear from its Invicta 3 and H3 ranges. All boards were fitted with galvanised trunking arrangements, surge protection and multifunction metering. Hanover also installed MCCB panel boards, distribution boards and final circuit protection devices. The team used its vast design experience to ensure the switchgear was suitable for the space. Alastair Hair, Managing Director of Hanover, says, “We were able to use bespoke, tailor- made solutions to meet the specification and customer requirements. “Having worked with NUGENT on various projects in the past, we have built an excellent relationship and understand the requirements and standards which must be met. “We got involved in the project quite early
on and having that head start helped the installation to run smoothly.
