GENERATOR SUPPLY & INSTALLATION
iPower Ireland Ltd supplied a standby diesel generator, supported the electrical contractor with design calculations and advice, and provided test and commissioning services for Northern Regional College Ballymena. Paul O’Neill, Operations Manager, says, “This is a classic example of iPower’s vast expertise in supply, installation and commissioning of Cummins diesel generators for large- scale construction projects.
“Our experience in the sector, coupled with the unparalleled performance and reliability of Cummins Power Generation, ensures that iPower is able to support customers with generators and auto-transfer switches which comply with the rigorous performance requirements set out in BS 8519:2020 and BS 9999:2017.” iPower coordinated its works in partnership with main contractor Heron Bros and MEP contractor NUGENT, and was impressed with the professionalism and rigour of both businesses. iPower is an authorised reseller of Cummins Power Generation products, which are ideal for supporting the most complex and demanding construction projects. The company has a modern manufacturing facility in Dungannon, Co Tyrone, which specialises in producing high-kVA acoustic containers and bespoke EU Stage V emissioned generators.
