Key suppliers to Edmundson Electrical and KEW Electrical Northern Ireland have attended an inaugural event aimed at boosting product knowledge among the electrical wholesalers’ teams. Held in the Crowne Plaza Belfast on October 23, the event welcomed representatives from Luceco, Schneider, Collingwood, Ansell, Ballentines, Forum, Hager, Scolmore, Unitrunk, CP and Kosnic. The suppliers were allocated 15-minute slots to discuss their products with each employee from Edmundson Electrical, including managers, reps, buyers and key sales staff. Jake Keyworth, Regional Director – Northern Ireland, said, “This is the first time we have ever held anything in this format, and the event was a great success. “We essentially assembled many of our leading suppliers and brought all
our people to them in one day. It was a great way to ensure our whole team is fully conversant with their products and services and to strengthen these key partnerships.” Held from 10am to 3.30pm with a break for lunch, the one-on-one meetings were followed by an evening event in the hotel’s Lagan View Suite with entertainment from May McFetridge and a late bar.
