THE SECOND ANNUAL CYCLING EVENT RAISED FUNDS FOR THE IRISH ELECTRICAL BENEVOLENT ASSOCIATION, WITH PARTICIPANTS COMPLETING ROUTES AROUND LOUGH DERG ON SEPTEMBER 5… Dash of the Derg 2025 welcomes 218 cyclists
Dash of the Derg 2025 was a great success, uniting members of Ireland’s electrical industry for a day full of energy, camaraderie and goodwill. Blessed with beautiful weather and a strong turnout with 218 participants, the September 5 event was marked by connection, laughter and a strong community spirit. Featuring both classic and shorter cycling routes, the second annual Dash of the Derg took place around Lough Derg, Co Clare. Organised by the Irish Electrical Cycling Club (IECC) with EI Electronics as title sponsor, the event raises funds for the Irish
Electrical Benevolent Association (IEBA). The support will help the charity continue its vital work supporting individuals and families from Ireland’s electrical community during times of hardship. IEBA has donated over €2m in the past 24 years, helping over 500 cases. IEBA extends its heartfelt thanks to the main sponsors, organisers and everyone who gave their time, energy and generosity to make
the 2025 event possible. Contact IEBA for further information: E: info@irisheba.ie www.irisheba.ie
