Table 3.12 shows the A-weighted equivalent-continuous sound pressure level for only pickleball. These levels do not include any adjustment for the impulsive nature of the paddle and ball impacts. The sound pressure levels show little variation with ball type and are mainly a function of speech on the pickleball courts. The measurement for the Foam Quiet ball was almost 12 minutes in length; however, due to frequent background noise event only about a minute and a half was useful for pickleball analysis.
