Leading the team at the new store is Branch Manager Geordie English, a time-served plumber with 20 years of experience in plumbers’ merchants. Geordie has joined Plumbmaster from Bassetts, as has driver Liam O’Brien, while Trade Counter Assistant David Hunter previously worked for BSS. “Geordie is a long-serving manager within the industry, and just started the week before the branch opened,” said Eamonn. “He has vast experience, Liam knows his products well and is a good guy to have on board, and David also brings great experience to the role.” All Plumbmaster branches supply oil and fuel tanks, cylinders, heating, water
storage tanks, water pumps, plumbing accessories, sanitary ware, renewables, boiler spares and other essential items from top manufacturers, available over the counter or via a click-and-collect service. A dedicated delivery fleet caters to trade professionals throughout Northern Ireland, offering fast delivery of all products. “Plumbmaster is going from strength to strength,” said Eamonn. “We launched in 2016 and that’s probably the fourth new branch we’ve opened since the launch. We’ve been very successful with some major contracts recently secured in Northern Ireland.
“We’re looking to develop our renewables business and have a
dedicated hub in Newry and are always on the look out to open new branches and attract another customer base. “The Haldane family and Executive Board members have been very supportive of the Plumbmaster journey, and it’s brilliant to be able to open new branches. “I would like to thank the Haldane family and express my gratitude because they are constantly investing in the business.”
