Pipelife is Ireland’s leading manufacturer and provider of plastic piping systems. Specialising in the extrusion of polyethylene pipes, Pipelife offers industry-leading products for the heating and plumbing, water pressure, electricity, cable ducting, gas and agricultural sectors. Drawing on over 55 years of manufacturing experience at its production plant in Cork, Pipelife has invested very heavily in modernising its production facilities. In recent years, the Irish operation has focused very heavily on renewable heating products and services, along with its traditional focus on plumbing and heating pipes and fittings. Pipelife also has a large focus on sewage, soil, rainwater and roofline products and has grown significantly over the years in the Irish, UK and continental European markets. The Pipelife Group is a company with annual revenues of €1bn a year. It operates in 24 countries and employs 3,000 employees in 28 manufacturing locations. Pipelife is a wholly-owned
subsidiary of the Wienerberger Group, which has group revenues of over €4bn per year and 16,000 employees worldwide. Pipelife Ireland Solutions Limited is also a proud member of Guaranteed Irish. This membership indicates its commitment to supporting local employment, contributing to the community, and ensuring the Irish provenance of its products. There has been a significant investment in its production facility in Little Island, Cork over the last two years, which has created one of the most modern facilities within the Pipelife Group. Pipelife has expanded and upgraded the existing production site and is on target to have 35 state-of-the-art extrusion lines incorporating the latest automation technologies, with a planned output approaching 45,000 tonnes per annum by 2026. PIPELIFE RENEWABLE TRAINING ACADEMY To keep customers up to date with its product selection, Pipelife Ireland now offers extensive product training at its new
Renewable Training Academy in Little Island Cork and new Distribution Centre in Mulhuddart, Dublin 15. The courses are free to attend and are led by members of its Technical Team who have a wealth of practical knowledge and installation practices. Also featured is a unique tour of the Pipelife manufacturing facility at the Cork factory, where visitors are given the opportunity to see first-hand where its products are designed and manufactured. The free courses are available to installers, service engineers, plumbers, merchants, architects, local authorities and BER Assessors. By offering a valuable insight into each of its heating technologies,
those who attend its courses are equipped with the best product
knowledge and installation techniques, ensuring that customers are fully satisfied. Pipelife is a registered training provider with Engineers Ireland.
