SERMET NI SUPPLIES SPACE-SAVING YET HIGH-PERFORMING ELCO BOILER PACKAGE… GAS BOILERS, PUMPS AND PRESSURISATION SYSTEM
S cott & Ewing entrusted Sermet NI with the supply and commissioning of the gas boilers, pressurisation system, circulation pumps and the system hydraulic air/dirt separation– for its Enniskillen Model Primary School project. As minimal plantroom space was a key factor, the Lisburn-based company selected the wall mounted Elco Thision L Plus gas boilers, explained Colin Beggs, Engineer for Sermet. “These boilers not only meet the consultant’s design output, but are also extremely efficient (>96%) fully modulating condensing gas boiler, stainless steel heat exchanger, Ultra Low NOx <23mg/kwh which achieves maximum BREEAM credits . “Being wall mounted on a cascade frame system the footprint of the ELCO Thision L Plus Gas boiler range was the perfect solution for this installation with being fully modulating, high efficiency, easy to manoeuvre gas boilers yet occupying
minimal floor space, which was essential for the plantroom layout design,” he added. The Elco THISION L PLUS is the most powerful wall hung boiler to enter the market, capable of achieving outputs as high as 200kw (or an impressive 1.6MW when fitted in cascade). When fitted in cascade, models have a low installation height of just 1.7m, while they offer the smallest, most compact footprint in terms of width. Up to eight boilers can be fitted in cascade, either in-line or back-to-back. Sermet NI has a long-standing relationship with consultants and contractors throughout Northern Ireland. It has assisted with project design and HVAC plant equipment selections to ensure the client needs are met by maximizing system efficiencies all within the project budget using a varied range of HVAC products.
