about neurodivergence. The boys agreed that this was another highlight of the year. As Zander mentioned, “It is important to talk about neurodiversity and show that everyone can be successful.” Finally, at the end of June, Ms Olusanya and Mr Devitt took a small group of Ambassadors to the ACEN Primary Conference. Based on the theme ‘Listening to marginalised voices and fostering peer allyship’, the Ambassadors spoke with impressive confidence and expertise about the highlights of their EDI role to headteachers and senior leaders from a number of independent and state primary schools. Noah was proud to take part: “It was really important to talk about the work we do.” The Ambassadors should be proud of their achievements throughout the year. I wish the Year 6 pupils success in shaping EDI activities in the Senior School, and look forward to our Year 5 Ambassadors continuing their excellent work in Year 6. “I enjoy being an EDI Ambassador to spread the word and also to show everyone how to be a good ally.” (Ciaran)

n Our EDI Ambassadors were very busy this year, deepening their work around equity, diversity and inclusion and becoming more directly involved in events across the school. In Michaelmas term, Mr Devitt appreciated their input into diversifying the History Curriculum and bringing in new perspectives. During Book Week, the Ambassadors had the amazing opportunity to have lunch and share a personal conversation with Adisa, a performance poet. It was interesting to find out more about his challenging journey to success and the obstacles he faced as a Black Caribbean artist. “I liked that he was so different to many other visitors we’ve had. His success, humbleness and humour in the face of racism made a lasting impression on me.” (Vish)
