On another note, the Golf Committee would like to thank Lou Eiguren for being a part of the ORPS golf community. We wish him and his wife good health, happiness and safe travels wherever life leads them.

And another one bites the dust. That being the 2022 - 2023 season. It was certainly a busy and controversial one from any I ’ ve witnessed in the past 24 years I ’ ve lived here. You all know how to make my hair turn gray. However, we did have a lot of fun from the CanAm tournament (which

the USA and Canada tied) to the Club Championship (where Trish Hall and Daniel Gascon repeated as champions). And what a beautiful basket I made for the CanAm raffle, which was won by Maggie Metz. Her husband enjoyed the dozen Titles ProV1s that Lou Eiguren donated.

We now welcome our present committee members: Mike Delaney, Phil Sanstrum, Diane Backer, Jeannie Ward, Eva Norcross, Larry Black, and of course me. We look forward to continuing to serve the golf community of ORPS. Remember, we ’ re volunteers trying to make this your happy place. If you disagree, let us know. Well, don ’ t let me know. We also want to thank Lupe for the haircut, Tahquitz GC for the round of golf, A - 1 Custom for the gift card, Betty McCullough for the golf accessories, and Mike Moore for the putter. You can see more photos elsewhere. As for the Club Championship, a great turnout, but why no max strokes! I made a 9 on #3!

The plus for this tournament was that we were able to have the gathering outdoors like we used to do, with the help from our trusted volunteers, barbecuing burgers. Thanks Lori, Steve, Holly, Richard, and especially Ron. I don ’ t think that barbecue has been any cleaner. The
