Bulls selling for $6,000 and above that are injured the first 30 days will be replaced or buyer receives full credit less salvage. Bulls selling for $6,000 and above injured from days 30 to 75 after turnout, the buyer will receive the salvage plus ½ the difference between purchase and salvage value. Death and injury due to negligence or willful mistreatment are not covered. In addition, bulls selling for $10,000 or more we will pay 1/2 of full mortality and injury insurance for one year if taken out on the day of the sale. For example, cost is 5% to Graff for the insurance and 5% to the purchaser of the bull for one year if the purchaser desires on sale day. Record System Graff Cattle cows are enrolled in the Angus Herd Improvement Records (AHIR) Beef Record System. Weights and adjustments are processed by AHIR. Additional data is processed according to the Beef Improvement Federation guidelines.
