Word of Life Experience Your Faith
Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and you are exalted as head above all. Both riches and honor come from you, and you rule over all. In your hand are power and might, and in your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all.
At Word of Life, we love to help young people experience their faith – to begin a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and to grow in their daily walk with Him. With God’s blessing and through the involvement and investment of your friendship, the worldwide ministries of Word of Life are expanding and moving forward: reaching youth with the gospel of Christ. This report gives you a glimpse of God’s grace revealed through you during 2022. I know you rejoice with us and are encouraged with all that He has done. To God be all the glory! What We Do
Youth and Family Camps Opens doors for youth and families to develop their relationship with Jesus Christ and with each other. Youth Ministries Provides resources, curriculum, and training that equip local churches to maximize the impact of their ministries and to help students grow in their faith. Bible Institutes Gives students a foundation of biblical knowledge and a vision for the future with two-year accredited postsecondary biblical studies programs. International Ministries Sends short-term and long-term missionaries around the world to share the love of Christ and the good news of the gospel.

Because of generous donors, many young people were able to come to camp last summer. The natural beauty, outdoor adventures, exciting activities, and life-changing biblical teaching at Word of Life give youth and families an unforgettable experience.

A Focused Youth Ministry Word of Life Youth Ministry focuses on what Jesus said He was going to build—His church. We are dedicated to supporting local churches through two youth ministry goals: • Gospel Witness – Every student everywhere hearing the gospel from a friend. • Spiritual Growth – Every student everywhere growing in their walk with Christ.

Four-Tier Curriculum Subscription Model We have introduced a four-tier subscription model to open the door for more churches to use our Youth Ministry curriculum. Churches can select 12, 24, 36, or 48 credits for their yearly subscription, providing greater flexibility to meet their ministry needs. This is one of many recent efforts to expand our reach in partnering with churches to build gospel-advancing youth ministries. 2022 Reverb Our annual all-night evangelistic event, Reverb, was a huge success, with 11 events held in cities across the country. Despite having one less event than last year, we saw an increase in attendance overall. A total of 13,125 people attended, and 431 made professions of faith. We are excited for what lies ahead and look forward to launching three new Reverb events in 2023.
Quiet Time Updates We are excited to see entire churches using Word of Life’s Quiet Time Devotionals. God is using resources like Quiet Time to impact lives across the country. We have purchased 412 Quiet Times this year, and we have some members who are using the digital app as well. It has been amazing to see God move in a mighty way. We have a church of about 800, so half of our attendees have committed to Word of Life Quiet Time. We were averaging about 45-50 teens; in the last two weeks, however, we had 134 at a special event and 91 on a normal Wednesday meeting. I have been [pastoring here] for two years, and the vision is just now catching on—like wildfire. I want this to be a habit that puts God back into the homes of our youth.

Word of Life Bible Institute is a collegiate-level program offering intensive biblical studies, discipleship, community, and hands-on ministry designed to help students discover God’s plan for their life.
The Impact of Studying the Word of God I grew up in a Christian home and was saved when I was 13 years old. Sadly, I wandered so far from God this past year. My heart was hard towards Christianity, and I was living in shame and guilt. I now stand back in complete awe of how God has radically changed my heart using Word of Life. He has done a complete 180 in my life, and I am now so excited to live for Him. Being at Word of Life Bible Institute has reminded me of how it feels to have true purpose and passion and what it means to live for Someone so much greater than anything this world can offer. I never want to go back to who I was before. Thanks be to God.

People Who Heard the Gospel at an Event or Virtual Event

Life Change in Lisbon I had the privilege of meeting Vitor as he was walking home from work. We were having our Lisbon evangelistic outreach, and he stopped as he was passing by… I shared the gospel with him. Praise the Lord, that was God’s perfect timing for Vitor. He told me he was thinking a lot more about life and God over the past weeks after traveling to different countries in Europe. The awesome part was that he told me he normally doesn’t take that street to go back home.
