“They were all open to the ideas. I think they’re a whole new generation of boxers that are showmen, you know? I think a lot of the young boxers coming up, they’re different from other athletes where they understand the entertainment value in what they’re doing as well. The whole process was really fun for me and really great creatively. My whole team was working on it, building these sets and coming up with these sacred spaces that weren’t too specific to any religion but just felt monumental and heroic and mythological, and that’s what we were going for.”
